Sam Alexander - Skateorobics Inc

After years of skating and helping others improve their skating skills, Sam Alexander, the founder, designed a series of exercises on skates that enhanced physical fitness. He discovered that this was a great way to get a workout and have fun at the same time. Since the summer of 1998, Sam, along with other instructors have held classes, and created a format while designing the program of Skate-O-Robics. The Skate-O-Robics fitness program has proven to be both practical and effective when it comes to working out and burning calories. It is the mission of Skate-O-Robics to become a premier provider of a cutting edge roller skating fitness program, made available at skating centers nationwide for families to enjoy.

SECOND CHANCE COMMUNITY SERVICES, INC. And OPEN WINDOW TELEVISION SHOW Join"efforts" in the “Fourth Annual" Community Round-Up Celebration & Parade in the South DeKalb Community of Ellenwood, Georgia ELLENWOOD, Georgia – On May 5, 2001, Second Chance Community Services, Inc., sponsored its Fourth Annual Community Round-Up Celebration and Parade in the South Dekalb Community of Ellenwood, Georgia. With the assistance of OPEN WINDOW’S Programming Staff, the East and West Glen Communities, the day proved to be an overwhelming success. Second Chance is a non-profit organization designed to assist persons who need improvement skills, both written and verbal, to promote self confidence, thereby empowering their abilities to take charge of their home and family life; as well as their community and environment. O. C. White, Jr., the founder and organizer of Second Chance Community Services, Inc., served as Grand Marshall along with 5th District’s Dekalb County Commissioner, Henry “Hank” Johnson. There were beautifully decorated floats and cars representing the many communities of Ellenwood, South Dekalb-Georgia. There were also youth making the 2 ½ miles journey on bicycles and 4-wheelers. Coupled with neighborhood groups of horsemen and banners to represent the early residents of the County Line Community. The parade began at the Linecrest and Clevemont Road intersections, moving eastward along linecrest Road, continuing through the East - West Glen and Linecrest Subdivisions. The event was escorted by a group of Dekalb’s finest from both the public safety and sheriff departments. The parade culminated at Dekalb County’s County Line Park. Parks and Recreation of Dekalb County, where Becky Kelley is Director, assisted greatly with their clean-up campaign for the two weeks prior. At the park, there was recognition of some celebrities who reside in this county line community as well as families of the founding fathers of the county line community. Free food, drink and entertainment were provided through the efforts of Second Chance Community Services, Inc. The entertainment included International Recording Artist Sherrod and Sherrodrick Jackson, The Twins, from their record label, AOC-Absence of Color. They are born and reared residents of the county line community. Also joining them were, Robert Bridges-solo artist, Chiquetta Deyounks-solo artist and Taj Kamin-solo artist. OPEN WINDOW TELEVISION is known for disbursing empowering information; therefore to continue these efforts, they acquired the talents of Richard Kenyada of Kenyada’s Neighborhood—another non-profit who has the community’s interest at hand.
